Abacus
An abacus class for kids helps children calculate basic arithmetic operations like subtraction , addition, division and multiplication in an easy and fast manner. It is an educational tool for learning to do fast and accurate. In order to inculcate the young minds speed calculation through abacus tool we have started abacus class since the year 2004 for all the classes.
Smart Class
Learning is no longer a one way traffic and it is more an interactive exercise. To enable this learning process, NIT school class rooms are equipped with smart TV’s and New age Audio Visual equipments. The smart Board TVs give the teachers access to pre-loaded lessons and elicit interactive response from the students.
Project Presentation
Through project presentation, we practice all system areas (Vocabulary, Grammar and Phonology) and Skills ( speaking, Reading, Writing and listening). We create confidence and presentation skill that all the children needed for a bright future. We inspire their confidence through appreciation certificates, medals, shields and cash awards Project topics with Creative ideas will be given through our faculty under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Radhakrishnan awardee Dr. V. Padmavathy.
Robotics
The NIT school provides a great opportunity to learn Robotics Technology along with their curriculum. Robots will increase economic growth and productivity and create new career opportunities for many people Robots able to work with better accuracy. Our children are learning to create their own robots. During the time of science Expo Robotics department received more appreciation from the Chief guest and public.
Spoken English
English has come as a Global language. It is the key to opening the door to the world. Spoken English can be inculcated by speaking, learning, reading and improving, vocabulary. Good vocabulary only helps us to speak good English. We motivate our children to speak in English and insist them to learn minimum five new words every day to increase their vocabulary.
Seminar Sessions
We provide Interactive sessions like seminars to improve communicate skills and to gain expert knowledge. Students complete readings and discus major themes or topics during class. It helps our children to learn more from talking and listening to each other than they do from listening passively to an instructor. Seminary session henceforth the becomes a mandatory part of our school curriculum. Usually colleges only conduct seminar session, We provide seminar session from primary school level onwards. It is highly helpful for our children when they are pursuing higher education through International Universities. Activity based learning is the brain child of our chairman Mam.
