Extra Curricular Activities
Bharatham
Our students performed Bharatham amazingly in various temples and competitions. In 2019 101 students of NIT school presented Bharatham at Chennai Kabalesswarar Koil during Navarathri festivals. Every year more than 200 students participate in Mangadu Kamactchi Amman koil Navarathri festival.
Carnatic
The NIT students perform at Chennaiyal Thiruvaiyaru an eight day Carnatic Music that happens at Kamarajar Arangam in Teynampet. It features performances including music by veterans. The event also showcases performances by talented school students. The lucky ones, this time, were around 100 talented students from the NIT school.
Karate Campus Of NIT
The champions of NIT have set new trends in martial arts by bagging 13 gold medals in Karate and one in Silambam. 6 years old girl of the NIT School participated in Tamilnadu State Open Karate championship held at Porur.
Yoga
Yoga is a group of physical mental and spiritual practices to improve concentration to maintain healthy body. The NIT school provides yoga practices regularly through Mangadu Manavalakalai Mandram. It help to control and still the mind. 10 of our school teachers also completed their graduation in Yoga to give the best practice to our children.
